One of the things that comes with following hundreds of politicians on Facebook is that you see plenty bad status updates. Uninteresting, mind-numbingly boring, or simply banal, bad status updates of all kinds seem to come out of political campaigns even more frequently than fundraising emails.
But I think this update from a Massachusetts state legislator wins the award for the worst political Facebook status update of all time.
Wow. That is dense. Apparently this legislator didn’t get the memo about how Facebook is built on informal dialog between real people. My best guess is that they must have thought it would be a good idea to simply copy and paste text from their legislative briefing book. That, or they were trying to emulate the style of C-SPAN announcers, in which case they succeeded splendidly.
